Just some of the dishes we ordered...

V for Vendetta.

I thought, and this was a thought shared by most around me, that the title of the show sounded a bit stupid. But nonetheless, I went ahead to catch it, and despite all its glaring impossibilities and exaggerations, found it most enjoyable. I strongly recommend you to do the same.

It's the kind of show that you can kick back and let your imagination run a bit wild, all in the relative safety of your chair.

Before the movie, dinner was at Manhattan Fish Market, a gross imitation of Fish and Co., not that I bear any liking to either of those chains. I once vowed never to step into one of those overpriced, unhealthy western diners, a category that both aforementioned restuarants fit well into. Would have done really well to keep that vow tonight...

FFXII is out and the original Japanese version is going for $120, if that means anything to you. Results are similar out, in a couple of hours time.

And I am already dreading tomorrow for being so packed. Oh boy, tomorrow is today. Frats.

Yesterday's dinner.

Big Ben's Place for British Pies, 15 Swan Lake Avenue. Warning: Air conditioner not working!!!

Irish Lamb Stew Pie with coleslaw (foreground), Steak and Guiness Pie with mash potato (background).

Irish Lamb Stew Pie, $4.50 with coleslaw. It's much more worth it to get the mash potato as a side though. The mash potato comes with bits of egg, very interesting!

Fish & Chips, $7. I was already quite filled up by the pie and it took much effort to finish up the main course.

A place worth coming back to explore, when I find the time to, that is.

To move or not to move

Has been a long time huh?

There is no denying that my current preference lies every so slightly towards the new WordPress platform. Maybe it's because familiarity breed a certain kind of boredom which in turn propels me towards this decision of migrating.

But being a sentimental being, this is indeed, no easy task. Moving, that is...and as such, I am typing this out...

Gonna be a long drawn affair.

On to more lighthearted stuff, I bought 3 games today: Resident Evil 4, Dragon Quest VIII and Winning Eleven 9. Initally I thought of getting God Of War instead of the soccer game but alas, it sold out.

Selling pirated games is a sure way of making money, judging from how much the old man's little wooden drawer had. I peeked at it when he gave me change. Haha.
